Board Members

Board Meetings: Typically held the 4th Friday of each month via Zoom or at Integris Hospice in Oklahoma City. All are welcome.

Directors serve two-year terms (up to three consecutive terms). All officers and members must be active employees of an Oklahoma hospice or have backgrounds in palliative care. No more than one member of an affiliated agency may serve concurrently.

Quarterly meetings designed for hospice professionals to network, share resources, and strengthen their practice.

  • Volunteer Coordinators

    Improve volunteer services for hospice patients through effective volunteer programs. Network and share ideas with coordinators across the state.

    Connect with fellow social workers for networking and resource sharing. A collaborative space to strengthen the support you provide to patients and families.

  • Bereavement & Chaplain Coordinators

    Share and learn skills that help provide meaningful support for patients, families, and coworkers. A space for chaplains and bereavement professionals to grow together.

    Navigate regulations, finances, and team development while leading with confidence in an ever-changing environment. Join the OHPCA board meetings in Oklahoma City.

Standing Committees

Committee membership is open to all current OHPCA members. Your voice matters — volunteer to serve on one or more committees.

  • Annual Conference

    Selects the conference site, determines and arranges the education component, and works with the host city to secure funding.

  • Education

    Develops education programs to support the ongoing professional growth of hospice and palliative care teams.

  • Ethics

    A resource for promoting ethics in the community and a platform to address education and ethical issues in end-of-life care.

  • Legislative

    Monitors and advocates for legislative action that promotes and protects hospice care in Oklahoma.

  • Public Awareness

    Coordinates media coverage of special events including the Annual Conference, Hospice Day on the Hill, and National Hospice Month.

  • Information Center

    Provides assistance and consultation to member hospices and organizations exploring hospice development.
